Therefore the buttons no longer matched the points of the map they refer to. However, when published online I realised that when zooming in or out of the map, the buttons placed on InDesign did not adjust accordingly. By clicking and dragging the object, using the grid system guidelines to help you centre the frame if you want a symmetrical design. ![]() You can also adjust where the object is on the page in the same manner as with other objects or frames in InDesign.Remember to hold down ‘cmd + shift’ on your keyboard to adjust in ratio, or to crop simply drag the frame outline to where you would like to crop the map. You can also adjust the object as shown before, by using the select tool and adjusting the parameters of the frame. This is the result of adding the HTML code into the object box.You can edit the dimensions of this object by changing the ‘width’ and ‘height’ ratios in the code as highlighted in the image. You will then receive this text box, where you can simply copy and paste the HTML code from the Google Maps page.To post this HTML on your InDesign document, go to the page where you want it embedded. You will receive this image, where you can click ‘copy HTML’. To get the HTML of this map simply click on the left menu in the Google Maps, then go to ‘Share or Embed Map – Embed a Map’.Here is chose a map of Leuven, as it is a city that has inspired me a lot creatively, and I have learnt a lot about the various pieces of art here during my project with Sculpture Culture, a website about the various sculptures in Leuven The first step is to find the map on Google Maps which you want to embed in your InDesign document. ![]()
